Useful numbers, without the spreadsheet.
Practical tools for engineers working with latency-sensitive networks, market connectivity and electronic trading infrastructure.
Start with the traffic you actually have.
First tool live now. More will be added as the project grows.
See what a burst does to a token bucket.
Model a full token bucket at burst start. Results are theoretical and use byte-based accounting; real hardware behaviour can vary by platform and accounting mode.
Tc = Bc × 8 / CIRA token bucket allows short traffic bursts above CIR. When the source rate is above CIR, the bucket drains at approximately source rate − CIR until the tokens are exhausted.
Built for latency-sensitive network engineering.
ULLWire is an independent toolbox for engineers working around electronic trading, market connectivity, telecom routes and ultra-low-latency infrastructure. The goal is simple: useful calculations, clear assumptions and no unnecessary workflow.
